High School Programming
The goals of our High School program is for student to continue learning, stay engaged and connect to their Jewish communities. We offer Havayah for students to continue their Jewish education; Madrichim for students to share their love of Judaism with younger students; and youth group for our students to have Jewish experiences together.
Classes
Havayah
Grades 8/9/11/12 - Students will investigate the Jewish History of Winston-Salem with the support of Dr. Adam Friedman, professor of Social Studies Education at Wake Forest University and Great Jewish Debates.
Grades 10/11/12 - Students will be in the Confirmation Class this year. They will investigate how Jewish teachings are important and relevant in today's world -- applying Jewish values to real life with Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker. Students who have already taken Confirmation are encouraged to register for one of the classes listed above.
Madrichim Applications 2023-2024
We're looking for madrichim for this year! Please apply here to help guide younger students at our Religious School. 8th-12th Graders can apply. If you are a returning madrich/a please fill out this form.
Youth Groups
