MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Temple Emanuel uses a Fair Share Membership Model. Instead of charging every household a set amount for annual dues, we ask that each household pay a Suggested Base Membership Commitment Amount. We request that you pay more if you can, and we accept smaller amounts as your situation requires, no questions asked. To make this membership model work financially, we need two things from you by June 30, 2025:

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT SELECTION GUIDE 2025-2026
This year, temple leadership has kept the Suggested Base Membership Commitment amount at $2500. When a majority of our members submit their commitment amount at this level or higher, we can cover our day-to-day operating expenses, care for our buildings & grounds, meet our clergy & staff salary obligations, and support our education programs.
Our additional $150 Security assessment also remains the same as last year.
This year, we are adding a $100 TLC Building Fund assessment to help maintain your second Jewish home now and into the future.
Members are welcome to offer enhanced Membership Commitments, as well as enhanced amounts for the Security or TLC Building Fund assessments, to help cover costs for those unable to make full contributions. Telling us your commitment amount now, whatever it is, helps us plan for the fiscal year ahead, which starts July 1.
We ask that all members confirm their Membership Commitment for 2025-2026 as soon as possible, and no later than June 30, 2025. If you have questions about other ways to financially support our temple, please contact our Executive Director, Jeff Morgan, at 336-722-6640 x114.
Based on my/our consideration of the Annual Membership Commitment guide for fiscal year 2025-2026, this is my/our level of support.
As a member of Temple Emanuel, I/we understand that submitting this form indicates a full-year financial commitment to support the congregation. I/We further understand that the temple depends on this commitment, and I/We will fulfill my financial obligation on or before June 30, 2026. If I/we am unable to do so, I agree to contact the temple’s Executive Director (jmorgan@templeemanuelws.com) to make alternative payment arrangements.
We want to make the payment process as easy as possible and have several options available for you. Press "Submit," and you will be taken to the payment options screen where you can choose to pay your pledge by credit card or ACH/ECheck (i.e., bank draft). You also will have the option to split your payment up over multiple installments.
Please note that you must complete your payments by June 30, 2026.
