Celebrating Rabbi Mark with Temple Emanuel

Please note: Registration has CLOSED for these events. All are welcome to attend Shabbat on May 20.

Dear Temple Emanuel Community,

As we all know, Rabbi Mark Cohn will be leaving our temple in June 2022. While this news certainly weighs heavily on our hearts, Rabbi Mark’s long tenure at Temple Emanuel deserves a celebration. In that spirit, please save the following dates for a special “Saying Goodbye” weekend for Rabbi Mark, May 20-21, 2022.

On Friday, May 20, 2022, come share a Shabbat Service honoring Rabbi Mark. We will be joined by special guest musician Yoel Sykes (of Nava Tehila fame) as we look back on the last twenty years of our temple’s history and how Rabbi Mark has shaped so much of it. A special oneg will follow.

On Saturday, May 21, we will celebrate Rabbi Mark with a dinner and “Family Southern Hoedown” at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons from 5 PM to 8 PM. Come on down for Havdalah, games, and a dinner for the whole family!

If you have any questions, please contact Temple Emanuel President Hilary Kosloske. We look forward to seeing everyone in May!
