Shalom!

We invite you to come and experience Jewish Life on the campus of Wake Forest University (WFU).  The Office of Jewish Life links all the non-academic Jewish organizations and activities on campus. Many of our programs and activities are open to the entire community.

Please check out our website here and also join our weekly e-newsletter to learn what is happening on campus.

There are more than 300 Jewish undergraduate students on the Reynolda campus and up to another 100 Jewish graduate students in our graduate schools – Law, Business, and Medical Schools.

Our Hillel chapter is very active and often 30 – 60 Jewish students attend our weekly Shabbat dinners and at other social and religious events.

Our Jewish fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) WFU chapter was established in 2012, and most of the brothers are Jewish. We are active performing service projects on campus and in the community. We earned an award in 2019 for best fraternity on campus.

Our Students Supporting Israel (SSI) WFU chapter has been in existence for a few years and offers Israel advocacy and programming on campus.

Our L’Dor V’Dor Program has been connecting our Temple Emanuel Mavens and WFU Jewish students for 2 years now, with fun and meaningful events.  Contact Regina Lobree for more info rlobree@gmail.com

Our MazalWAKE Jewish pre-orientation program attendees meet with Temple Emanuel staff and community members the first week they are on campus (in mid-August) so the students can become familiar with all that the W-S Jewish community has to offer.

Our Interdisciplinary Jewish Studies Program (through WFU Academics) lists a wide variety of class offerings through numerous academic departments, taught by our outstanding professors. Contact Jewish Studies directly at JewishStudies@wfu.edu.

We look forward to welcoming you into our vibrant and connected WFU Jewish community.
